Enverated Site

Moving operations to this blog site. For those looking for updates on the Judges adventures in Eastern Europe, I will attempt to play catchup to all my recent slacking!

Here is recent post:
June 28th

Back at my desk about 3:30 today after interrogating another
witnesses in Pristina.

In my email was the following:
"Please come to our office to sign your request for extension.
Thanks a lot"

What do I have to do to convice the UN I won't be here after the end
of September?
I met with the presiding judge in the big war crimes case and he told
me to not bother to attend the pretrial conference and go to Bondsteel(US Army Base)
He's been to Bondsteel for the 4th party and says don't miss it. He's from
Muaritaus. They have an election on Sunday. If it goes his way he expects
to be named the UN ambassador.
I'll go to the ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on the 4th
I talked to Anu again today. Sharon has announced a September 30th
departure date. I better drop her a note. They have interviewed and are
deciding on a replacement for Janet today. Geri is also leaving. Three
out of five will be gone when I return.
I just edited the minutes of the first day of our murder trial. June
21. They are really bad. I mean difficult to read and bear little
resemblence to the testimony that was given. Names are all wrong and place
names are all muddled. We have to do this after every court session. The
judge has to sign them. I have pretty good notes so I think they now
somewhat reflect what was said.
It was with great pride that I heard Sue is in graduate school and
Audrey is out. Kudos.
